Recreation Facilities Emergency Management Forum Event Cancellation 

Toronto, March 25, 2020 - The health and safety of ORFA members, staff, instructors, and training partners continue to be very important to us. We have been closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19 since January 2020 and have issued updates on February 3rd, March 9, March 11, and on March 16, 2020.

Given the most recent COVID-19 developments, and projected future impacts as suggested by public health authorities, the ORFA, in an abundance of caution, has decided to cancel the Recreation Facilities Emergency Management Forum scheduled for Sunday, June 7 to Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at the Westin Harbour Castle.

The ORFA is exploring an online version of the Forum with presenters and will share more details as soon as possible. As a registered participant of the Forum, you have two options:

  1. Request a full REFUND or,
  2. Request a TRAINING CREDIT (valid until December 31, 2020). The training credit may be used towards an online version of the Forum with details to follow, or any upcoming regional course offering.
